Admiral Farragut Academy 

Over its 70-year history, AFA is the only institution in America designated a “Naval Honor School” by act of Congress. The Academy has graduated two moonwalking astronauts and scores of cadets who have excelled in professions such as medicine, education, law, engineering, business, and the arts. Designed for the college-bound, The Academy’s challenging liberal arts education prepares some of the finest young men and women in the country for post-secondary education and beyond.  

facilities 55 acre campus includes athletic fields, waterfront on Boca Ciega Bay with a boathouse and docks. Farragut Hall, a former resort hotel, contains all cadet living quarters. Classes are held in separate facilities for upper, middle and lower divisions. Other facilities include a gymnasium, an art building, Parrot Memorial Library and more.
