Teaching English in Vietnam

Teaching positions are available in two of Vietnam’s largest cities, Hanoi, which is the capital of Vietnam and Haiphong, the biggest harbour city in Vietnam. In addition to gaining excellent teaching experience, this is an opportunity for those who would like to live in South East Asia in a country with a rich cultural heritage that is developing rapidly.  Sunrise Vietnam is seeking 10 English Teachers to work from 1st October 2009 for 06 months up to 02 years contracts. A first degree is required for these posts, and those with CELTA or TEFL qualifications will be given preference. Those with teaching experience or an academic background in English Language and English Literature are also encourage to apply
Vietnamese students are a pleasure to teach! They are dedicated and highly motivated with a great sense of humour which makes teaching fun and interactive at all levels and age groups. At Sunrise Vietnam there are opportunities to teach across a wide range of ages, teaching from beginner to more advanced levels. In all young learner classes there is a teaching assistant to help with classroom management and communicate with parents.  Candidates will be required to teach a maximum 25 hours/5 days/week.  Sunrise Vietnam will provide assistance with securing accommodation in the centre of both Hanoi and Haiphong for successful candidates.
